Carney Unveils $4.7B Via Rail Order for 313 Cars Built in Thunder Bay
Prime Minister Mark Carney announced a $4.7 billion contract to build 313 new Via Rail passenger cars at Alstom’s Thunder Bay plant, a project officials say will create 700 jobs and replace a fleet averaging 77 years old.
